The Peruvian Institute of Investigations of Peruvian and Latin American Thought (IIPPLA) and the Academic Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences of the National University of San Marcos in coordination with the Peruvian Society of Philosophical Counselling and Philosophical Practice (SOPECPRAFIL), taking into account the interest for Philosophical Practice in Peru, having organized the I National Meeting of Philosophical Practice and preceding the postponed XI National Conference of Philosophy, organized the I International Convention of Philosophical Practice in Peru on December 3th-7th, 2007, to learn about and deepen insights on different approaches of Philosophical Counselling applied around the world.

The Convention took place at the Main Auditorium of the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences of the National University of San Marcos in the University Campus (Av. Universitaria/ Av. Venezuela Cdra. 34 - Lima 1). It started on Monday 3.12 in the afternoon and continued with workshops scheduled from 9 o' clock in the morning to 9.30 in the evening from Tuesday 04.12.07 to Friday 07.12.07.
